From Vision to Flight
As of September 1st, co-founders Ethan Duke and Dana Ripper will transition from staff roles to the MRBO Board of Directors, where they will serve two-year terms. After helping guide MRBO from its founding in 2010 to today, they're excited to support a new generation of outstanding conservation leaders! Tessa Poolman, Conservation Program Director, and Marlee Malmborg, Operations Director, will carry forward MRBO's 16-year tradition of co-leadership, alongside our exceptional team: Central Region Education Coordinator Melina Matheney, Plastic Pollution Educator Stori Smith, Field Project Leader Matt Longabaugh, Environmental Educator Isabelle Guthrey, and Media Contractor Hannah McFarland.
We hope you'll join the entire MRBO staff and board on August 29th for a celebration of MRBO’s co-founders, our supporters, and new leadership as we transition to this exciting new chapter for MRBO!
Please consider a donation in honor of Dana and Ethan’s dedication to conservation and the continuation of MRBO’s work. A check can be mailed or donate online here!
